JUNE 9 REFERENDUM RESULTS: Peru voters approved all but two spending articles in Tuesday's budget referendum, withholding $10,000 requested by the Selectmen for continued maintenance of the former West Peru grammar-school building and $70,000 requested by the Road Commissioner as a down payment for a new plowtruck. A list of all spending articles appears in DOCUMENTS AND FORMS (scroll down to MEETING AGENDA).
IMPORTANT: Sponsorship of this website, provided as a courtesy by the River Valley Growth Council since 2007, will end on June 30. At that time, the Town of Peru (or some other sponsor) will have to cover the web-hosting fee to keep the site live. Please contact the Peru Town Office if you would like to see this site continue.
